Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FilesTransfer at filestransfer.cc. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use FilesTransfer.

The service

FilesTransfer lets you upload files and share them via a temporary, expiring download link. Free transfers are limited to 3 GB per transfer. Links expire after the period you choose (1, 3, 7 or 30 days), after which files are deleted.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use FilesTransfer to upload, share or transmit:

  • Content that is illegal or infringes others' rights;
  • Malware, viruses or any code intended to harm systems or interfere with the service;
  • Content that violates intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights;
  • Spam, phishing or fraudulent material; or
  • Content that is abusive, harassing or otherwise harmful.

You are solely responsible for the files you upload and share, and you confirm you have the right to do so.

Accounts and verification

Some features require an account or email verification. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for activity under your account. Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, security controls or verification.

No backup; availability

FilesTransfer is a transfer service, not a backup or storage service. Files are deleted when their link expires. We provide the service on an “as is” and “as available” basis and do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Content removal

We may remove content and suspend access that we reasonably believe violates these Terms or applicable law, without notice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FilesTransfer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Your use is at your own risk.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
